About Us

On December 20th of 2020, many lives were changed drastically. My good friend Will had lost his life to a pill that he had taken, that unknowingly contained fentanyl. One single pill, ended his life. Will had an amazing heart, he loved to build things, be outside, longboard, and most of all, he loved his family and friends more than anything. He was a son, a brother, a best friend, and so much more. Will had a future, he had plans and goals that he was never able to reach. He taught me the true meaning of friendship and fun and I give him credit for that every single day. My name is Peyton Steele, I am currently a senior in high school and as I take a look around it has gotten to the point where drugs within students have become too natural. I ask myself these questions all the time, “why do people put their lives at risk for this stuff”, “how do they not realize how much they are harming themselves”, “why do so many people let it take over their entire life”. It just doesn't sit right with me. I don't want anybody else to lose a friend, or their brother, their son. And that is why I have decided to do something about it. I have created these refocus bands in honor of Will and to spread awareness about teenage drug use. I have decided to support the Natural High organization. Natural High is a team based out of La Jolla, California that promotes the idea of teenageers finding their happiness or “Natural High” outside of drugs and alcohol. They educate different leaders around the country on how to help students find their own natural high. They do this by creating educational videos, and curriculums, training youth leaders, creating campaigns, ect. And that is where I come in. I am trying to spread their method and encourage teenagers to watch these videos, read the stories, and learn how much only one time can truly affect you, so that nobody ever has to lose someone important to them. All of the profit that I generate from the refocus bands will be donated to them. Your money will be helping Natural High generate these educational videos that are shown to students, spreading the organization to more households and teens, creating additional after-school programs, and so much more. I have customized and designed these bands so that every part of it has important meaning. The outside pattern on the band illustrates a sunrise. It represents starting something new, sunrises are the beginning of every single day, and that is what Natural High is all about. Helping students start something new to find their happiness. Another reason why I choose a sunrise is because of Will’s love for nature and the outdoors. On the inside, the shaka hand symbol represents Will. It is a symbol of compassion, friendship, admiration, and solidarity. Which was the exact definition of him. The things he loved, he loved to the extent. Help me spread awareness so that nobody else ever has to lose someone the way Will’s family, friends, co-workers, classmates, and I did. The Tahoe

The Tahoe

On the front cover of the page, you see the truck in front of the mountains. This represents Will's Chevrolet Tahoe, or as he called it "The Hoe". No matter what he said, or what had broken that day, he loved that truck. From cutting the muffler off and having to weld it back on himself, to taking apart each door, and setting up his own base system. The "hoe" was a big part of Will, and I wanted that to be shown.
